Teen chore chart with an allowance column
A weekly grid for older children and teenagers with an optional column for what each chore is worth. You enter the amounts; the sheet only prints what you typed.

How to use this chart
- Replace the sample amounts with your own before you print. The numbers on the page are placeholders to show how the column looks; they are not a recommendation of what jobs are worth.
- Type the amounts without a currency sign if you want the column narrow, or include the sign if you prefer. Whatever you type in a line appears in the same row of the chart.
- Agree what counts as done before the first week. A teenager and a parent can disagree about a clean bathroom sink, so write the standard next to the job, for example wiped and dry.
- Turn the amount column off if you would rather use the chart for responsibilities that are not paid. The same grid then works as a plain weekly job list for older children.
- Add up the ticked rows at the end of the week and write the total and the day it was paid in the line at the bottom, so there is a written record both sides can check.
Questions
Does the chart tell me how much to pay?
No. It prints exactly the amounts you type and nothing else. How much to pay, or whether to pay at all, is a family decision.
What if I have more jobs than amounts?
Rows without an amount are left blank in the column, so you can leave some jobs unpaid or write the amount by hand.
Can I change the name of the amount column?
Yes. Change the heading to Points, Minutes of screen time or anything else you want to count, and type those values as the amounts.
Is there a version without money?
Switch off the amount column. For a younger child, the weekly chore chart for kids has bigger boxes and a reward line.
